We had a fantastic experience at Giraffe in London Southbank! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm and attentive service. They were great with the kids, ensuring everything was just right for them, which made the entire meal so much more enjoyable for us as a family. The food was delicious and arrived promptly, which is always a big plus when dining out with children. The menu had an impressive variety of options, catering to both adults and kids. Definitely kid-friendly, kids loved their meals. The atmosphere was lively and fun, but still relaxed enough to enjoy a proper family meal. The location is ideal, right on the Southbank, so it’s perfect for grabbing a bite after a day of exploring the area. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Giraffe is the perfect spot for families looking for great food, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to others!

We booked ahead, glad we did as some people were either waiting 30/45 mins or eating outside. We was seated quickly and got ourselves comfortable. We did attempt to order via the order device on the table, but it was much easier to order from the waitress - especially as we wanted to swap some bits round on the kids meals, which they did without any fuss thankfully! My son noticed games on the table device, but it was chargeable so that was moved out the way after discovering that! Food after being ordered came very quickly and was actually quite nice - a bit of food envy on the table about choices made! We did debate about desert, but options were not great. I didn't personally use the toilets, but the wife and kids said they were a bit yucky, thankfully the rest of the restaurant seemed pretty tidy - especially considering how busy it was!

Food excellent, quick to be served and very quick cooking of the food, the coffee was perfect, service great apart from not being asked what sauce we wanted with the fish and chips then finding out that the bread and butter that came with them( which I might add we didn’t order, as my son doesn’t eat white bread, we just presumed it came with it and we didn’t see on the menu which after later discovering it’s not even on the menu!) it wasn’t eaten and we were charged for it which is a tad out of line considering we didn’t even order it and no one seemed bothered by this, their tip reflected this as it was £2 less than they were going to get to cover the cost of the added extra we didn’t order.. jut be careful to check for these little things that may have been added on.
