As the photos show "Faim" is a chic coffee bar by day and a very beautiful cocktail lounge by night... Exquisitely decorated inside to a very high standard by Punch only a couple of years ago, this fantastic venue also boasts a private sectioned off area which is used as a meeting / event room that can be hired for private functions...(see photo for hire rates) Nb: As people were in this area I couldn't take photos on this visit Faim is adjoined with and owned by the same landlord as The Square Tavern next door this unique meeting hub is a real hidden gem, inside the very peaceful pedestrian area of Tolmer's Square... Serving a variety of menu options throughout the day... Open from 8.30am during the week, unsure of times on the weekends. Marco was the manager today, very friendly and makes a great coffee 👍 😎

I like a place called Two Days More in Hackney Wick which is a similar concept to this and I was in the area so figured I’d give it a shot. I walked in, an Italian guy working there just looked at me like I’m a moron asking “Are you lost?” And I asked if I could sit down and he was confused that I would even want to. Everyone is staring at me and I’m thinking “Isn’t this a business? It says coffee and drinks and work space on the door.” And then I get clarified in a down talking tone as if I was supposed to know since it’s empty and like 8:30am “It’s a private event”. Now I’m in a standoff with an employee because I walked into a coffee shop. No entitled service worker behavior, be standard issue polite or work in back of house. Here’s your receipt.

Very nice quiet atmosphere. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The girl who served me was extremely nice and made good coffee! Great spot to do a bit of work
