Situated within 1 Hotel Mayfair, Dovetale is a distinguished restaurant led by two Michelin-starred chef Tom Sellers. Dovetale embodies luxury through its unwavering attention to detail, showcasing a carefully curated menu that highlights sustainably sourced British ingredients.

Executive Chef Tom Anglesea has curated an elegant Saturday Brunch offering complete with a mix of both classic and creative dishes. Guests can enjoy traditional favourites like the Full English and eggs Benedict, as well as innovative creations such as a Cornish crab omelette served with shredded slaw and nam jim and Croque Madame made with a truffle fondue and topped with fried quail’s egg.

Available Sunday from 12pm - 8pm, Dovetale redefines the Sunday roast with an exquisite three-course menu that balances tradition and innovation. Guests can start with luxurious options like white onion velouté with black truffle crème fraîche or whiskey and soy-cured salmon with cucumber and dill.

Main courses include classics such as roast Black Angus beef with horseradish cream, roast Somerset chicken with bread sauce and sausage stuffing, or a vegetarian cauliflower steak with yeast and grenobloise. Each roast is served with perfectly crisp roasties, Yorkshire puddings, heritage carrots, steamed greens, and rich gravy.

The Sunday roast experience is elevated by the addition of live music where guests can enjoy the soulful sounds of talented musicians as they savour their meal.

    The cocktails here are simply spectacular! I started with their signature drink,It was perfectly balanced and oh-so-delicious. The food matched the drinks in excellence! The was the perfect way to start—a mix of flavours. The staff were amazing from start to finish. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They made sure we felt welcome and helped us pick out the perfect cocktails and dishes

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Doventale for breakfast, and I must say, the experience was delightful. The food was exceptionally delicious, with each dish beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. From the perfectly cooked eggs to the fresh pastries, every bite was a treat. We chose to sit outside, and the atmosphere was simply phenomenal. The outdoor seating provided a lovely ambiance, allowing us to enjoy our meal while soaking in the fresh morning air. It was the perfect setting to start our day. While the service was generally nice, we encountered a frustrating issue when it came time to pay. After finishing our meal, we found ourselves waiting for quite a while without anyone nearby to assist us. This delay was quite disappointing, especially after such an enjoyable breakfast. Overall, Doventale is a fantastic spot for breakfast, offering delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. However, I hope they can improve their service during busy times to ensure a smoother experience for their guests.

    The food was okay but I was expecting much better for the prices. The crab omelette could have had a bit more filling and crab flavour, and I didn't like the salad topping. Service was also subpar, the coffees came after the food, we never got any water refills and our table was missing salt and pepper. Overall a bit disappointing as I was expecting better for the location and menu prices.
