The name says it all: fragrant spices and the bustling atmosphere of a market hall make Cinnamon Bazaar one of the area’s unmissable Brunch spots.

Reminiscent of a railway carriage though with more bombastic colour palettes and extravagant patterned ceilings. Pull up a stool by the mint green central bar and or unwind under a canopy of silk scarves and hanging baskets. Inspiration is drawn from the trading routes of the Raj, creating a distinctive Indo-European blend in both the décor and the food.

Inspired by the hustle and bustle of India’s ancient and modern bazaars where goods, ideas, flavours and experiences were exchanged, Cinnamon Bazaar's menu runs from Brunch through to dinner and features pan-Indian, street food style dishes that blend modern cultural influences with classic spices and flavours.

Weekend Brunch traverses the length of the subcontinent, with exotic plates and the option of adding free flowing drinks.

Follow this up with a biryani, kingfish curry or tandoori chicken, steaming bowls of nourishing goodness that perfectly complement sides of naan, house black dal or seasonal greens. To finish why not try the carrot and ginger toffee pudding or a selection of seasonal fruit sorbets?

Ambiance here is great - decor is very pretty. Relatively easy to make a reservation here but it is needed because it was packed! Service is a bit slow but worth it! Got the chaat, chicken tandoori, and the shepherds pie. Shepherds pie is definitely not what I expected in all the right ways. Spices were top notch and on point for the dish and worthy of being in the 100 best dishes in London! Also got a gin julep that was OK

Have passed by this lane a few times but never noticed this place before and then on a weekend we were looking for some Indian places and this happen to have some availability. It had a Michelin guide sticker outside so we expected the food to be good and the starters were indeed great, particularly the vegetarian scotch eggs with beetroot coatings it’s something like bettroot chops you get in East India and it was surprising to see it here in London - would have loved if they had that as a separate menu item too. The mains however were okay , biryani was a bit too oily and prawns didn’t actually matched the description we expected to be more like fried snacks but seemed like a curry dish. Overall good value for money esp if you have their weekday menu or meals - which am definitely gonna try next.

WOW. The atmosphere, the food, the EVERYTHING. Everything was like a flavour explosion in my mouth in the best way. There were fantastic food pairings that I never would have expected to be good, but everything we had was exceptional! The staff was incredibly kind, and I loved the soft, relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. I cannot wait to go back!
