Capilungo is an Italian family-owned business, passionate about Puglian specialities, bringing you authentic Italian flavours and hospitality to the heart of Covent Garden.

Capilungo offers a relaxed dining experience with a modern Italian flair. Its simple yet elegant interior blends contemporary elements with traditional touches, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The brunch menu includes a selection of classic Italian dishes alongside breakfast favourites, featuring options like avocado on toast with house ricotta or the lemon ricotta and salmon toast with hickory smoked salmon and baby capers.

For something heartier, this menu offers Italian ham and eggs with  capocollo martina franca, prosciutto di Parma and hollandaise or the focaccia royale with rosemary focaccia and smoked salmon. Their basil shakshouka brings a Mediterranean twist with spiced tomatoes and stracciatella cheese, while Capilungo's French toast is indulgently served with pistachio mascarpone cream, fresh berries, and flaked Barese almonds.

Capilungo is conveniently located on Long Acre, within walking distance of Covent Garden Underground Station. Its central location makes it easily accessible for a casual brunch during a day out in the city and provides excellent transport links to the rest of the city.

The place has a pleasant Italian vibe, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get a seat upstairs. Instead, we were given a table in the basement area, which was quite noisy due to loud music and other guests. It also felt a bit chilly down there, which made the atmosphere less comfortable. The food was decent, but it didn’t quite live up to the price. The desserts, in particular, seemed not very fresh, which was disappointing. However, the main dishes were prepared well and tasted fine. The staff was polite and attentive, working efficiently and ensuring we were served promptly. Dog-friendly.

We had delicious Italian brunch here! Pastries are amazing! We had one sponge cake with chocolate filling and another pastry with cherry and both were the best Italian desserts I’ve tried! 100% recommended! Stuff is super friendly❤️ Special thanks to Raj for brilliant hospitality and service!

My absolute favorite breakfast spot in London! Every visit is a delightful experience, with each dish being delicious and expertly prepared. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that everything is just right. I especially want to highlight Raj, who is exceptionally kind and helpful—his warm demeanor truly enhances the overall experience. I can't wait to return every time I'm in London and will definitely be bringing new friends along to share in this wonderful gem!
