Breakfast In Brixton

My two sisters and I went here for breakfast and to catch up as we don't get together often. I Loved the greenery on the sign outside. Upon entering I tripped into the establishment, there is a mind the step sign but I didn't see it, please be aware. I was greeted warmly by a plethora of beautiful young ladies, and made to feel immediately at ease and most comfortable. There is a staircase leading downstairs to the vast and spacious dining area. We were seated at a booth so we were cosy and intimate. The star of the show was definitely the food. We all found it appealing colourful, flavoursome, and plentiful. I'm vegan so I opted for the callaloo with fried dumplings avocado and beans...only issue I had was the callaloo wasn't fresh it was tinned. Apart from that everything was DELICIOUS 🤤 the music playing in the background was soothing and relaxed. Service was efficient and super speedy, the servers were polite,friendly and professional. Great value for your money! We definitely recommend it and we will certainly return..

Following the hype on social media, we were eager to book a table, driven by the great reviews. The food is extremely well presented (see pictures) and the service is top notch in a lovely atmosphere. But… food wasn’t tasty, and not well prepared and it was cold. On top of it, they didn’t have pancakes, which is poor for a Saturday brunch. Menu is overpriced considering the availability and quality isn’t up to standards. There is definitely room for improvement.

After months of planning I finally got meet up with my friend for brunch! We both love food and definitely recommend @breakfastinbrixton 💯 The food was delicious 😋 my brother had already visited and recommended it so we had to try it and it didn’t disappoint!. We also saw it on instagram and wanted to see if it was as good as it looked Booking was easily done online, we were running a bit late as we couldn’t see the sign for the restaurant so walked past it a few times😂🤦🏽‍♀️ but staff were lovely and welcoming The food portion and price was 👌🏽we ended up taking food home as we couldn’t finish it! 😂 We had the Brixton Boss Box & the Vegan mix & match 😋😋😋 Lastly the setting is nice and cosy but quite smaller than how it looks online. We had a really nice conversation with the staff and encouraged them that they may need another or a bigger location which is something they will probably have to work on in the future as they are very busy! Oh and we also got a loyalty card which gets stamped each time you visit and you get 50% off on your 10th visit! I’ll be back soon 😁
