Blacklock was born from a love of the traditional Chophouse. Drop by for chops, cocktails, wine on tap and of course a formidable Sunday Lunch.

Prioritising quality meaty goodness, Blacklock’s meat is sourced exclusively from small farms in Cornwall owned by award winning butchers, the Warren Family.

Sunday Lunch is the perfect opportunity to get around a table with friends and family and regale each other with the week's goings-on. Many claim to have the best, but at Blacklock they know no roast will ever beat the nostalgic feast Mums dish out up and down the land each week.

However, they do their best to get as close to that comforting feast, safe in the knowledge that it will only ever be almost as good as Mum's. The Roast menu is only available on Sundays with delicious chops and steaks (and plenty in-between) served throughout the week.

Blacklock Covent Garden is located just off Bedford Street with fantastic transport links from Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Charing Cross, near the many theatres in the West End, the National Operal House, Somerset House and one of London’s most famous shopping districts.

First time visiting Blacklock in Covent Garden. While on a birthday trip to London....What a great place!!! We arrived earlier than expected, but the staff were able to accommodate us with absolutely no fuss at all. The waitress who served us was superb, kind, friendly, and so efficient. The food was amazing. We had the sharing menu with a couple of extra sides and then white chocolate cheesecake to finish. We also had a nice bottle of white wine. The food was cooked to perfection and served quickly. There was plenty to eat without being over the top. We thought the value for money for the quality and quantity of food was really good. The restaurant itself had a lovely atmosphere and a really nice vibe. It was spotlessly clean, as were the toilets. I would highly recommend this as a place to eat and hope to return one day when we are back in London.

I came here for Sunday lunch. There was a great atmosphere (even though we were there only just after opening the place was lively and friendly with a lovely buzz). On Sunday they just serve roast dinners so that is what we had and WOW it's wonderful. Friend and I had a sharer so we could try the different meats and all were absolutely delicious. Accompaniments were perfect. Best gravy ever. Service is attentive without being overbearing. Overall, I can't wait to go back!

Recently dined here for a Birthday and it did not disappoint. We ordered the all in roast and a side of cauliflower cheese for 2 adults which was more than enough for us and a child at a really reasonable price. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert! The only downsides were that the restaurant is far too hot which made it slightly uncomfortable towards the end and some of the potatoes were much too salty, and that’s coming from someone who frequently overdoses on salt with pleasure. Those small things aside, I would return here tomorrow for another delicious roast.
