Blacklock was born from a love of the traditional Chophouse. Drop by for chops, cocktails, wine on tap and of course a formidable Sunday Lunch.

Prioritising quality meaty goodness, Blacklock’s meat is sourced exclusively from small farms in Cornwall owned by award winning butchers, the Warren Family.

Sunday Lunch is the perfect opportunity to get around a table with friends and family and regale each other with the week's goings-on. Many claim to have the best, but at Blacklock they know no roast will ever beat the nostalgic feast Mums dish out up and down the land each week.

However, they do their best to get as close to that comforting feast, safe in the knowledge that it will only ever be almost as good as Mum's. The Roast menu is only available on Sundays with delicious chops and steaks (and plenty in-between) served throughout the week.

Blacklock is located under the railway tracks on Frobisher’s Passage on Canary Wharf’s North Dock with fantastic transport links from Canary Wharf station via the Elizabeth Line, Jubilee Line and DLR.

Probably the best Sunday lunch in London! If you’re wondering where to get Sunday roast in London then Blacklock are possibly the best. We chose the All In where you get three types of roast meats plus all of the vegetables and trimmings. The white chocolate cheesecake (theoretically unlimited) is a great dessert and the wine selection, served from taps so you can find the perfect volume for you, is also very decent. Would highly recommend.

Reservations can be made easily on OpenTable. I could make a same day reservation on a working day. We arrived slightly earlier than the time. We were waiting at the bar for a while then we were seated. The service was amazing, our guy introduced himself and made us feel welcome. The food was amazing too. The steaks are reasonably priced, £27 for a 270g ribeye, £7.5 for a glass of cheapest red wine. The ribeye was beautifully cooked to medium rare as we requested. I wouldn’t recommend the bone marrow as it was quite raw and oily. But everything is great. The atmosphere was great however it was so loud, we had to speak very loudly. We spent £108 for two including service charge.

Enjoyable dining experience. The white chocolate cheesecake was delicious. Stopped by for lunch because wanted a steak. Customer service was phenomenal. Steak cooked to my liking. Price wasn't outrageous. Location was cool. Nice view of wharf.
