The atmosphere at the restaurant was truly beautiful, creating a lovely setting for what was supposed to be a special evening. The food was very good—my husband and I had a couple of starters, and the truffle pizza and oysters was simply amazing. However, the service left much to be desired. I had booked the dinner for my husband's birthday, which was on that very day. I prepaid for champagne and even uploaded a picture for recognition, but unfortunately, that special touch never happened. The champagne, which was supposed to be a welcome drink, arrived 10-15 minutes after we were seated, during which time we hadn't been served at all. I didn't want to mention the champagne to my husband, so we ordered other drinks that, strangely enough, only arrived toward the end of our dinner. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all—there were only about 5-6 tables occupied—so the delay in service felt even more disappointing. Although the lady serving us was lovely, the overall service was disorganized. While the food was excellent, we didn’t get any dessert as we were already full, but what really dampened the experience was the lack of any effort to acknowledge the birthday. Something as simple as a "Happy Birthday" message on the plate would have been a nice gesture, especially given the occasion. In summary, while the food and atmosphere were outstanding, the service, especially on such a special day, was quite a letdown.

Azzurra offers a remarkable blend of elegance and accessibility. The luxurious ambiance and impeccable setup create an inviting atmosphere, while the menu remains surprisingly affordable. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with genuine warmth by the staff, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The menu boasts a thoughtfully curated selection of Italian classics. We indulged in the linguine with soft-shell crab, tuna steak sourced fresh that day, and sides of broccoli and zucchini. The linguine was cooked to perfection, with an exquisite balance of texture and sauce. The tuna was undeniably fresh, but the true revelation was the fried zucchini – impossibly crispy and seasoned so masterfully that it was impossible to resist. The service was equally noteworthy, with Petr and Oscar ensuring our evening was delightful. Petr, in particular, stood out with his cheerful demeanor and spot-on recommendations. Though I’m not typically a fan of desserts, nor do I enjoy tiramisu, the pistachio tiramisu he suggested was nothing short of a revelation – so much so that I look forward to ordering it again in the future. Azzurra has undoubtedly set a new standard for me in both cuisine and hospitality. Patrick

Would highly recommend! :) Came here for a brunch with friends and had a great time. We were looked after by Peter who was amazing - he was so friendly and professional and provided us with the best service throughout. Peter was warm and welcoming and kindly checked on us to make sure we were ok and enjoying our meal. The atmosphere and decor of restaurant is lovely as you walk in. Live DJ playing which gives a nice added touch to the atmosphere and music is not too loud. Staff nicely welcome you as you walk through the door and all greet you with a smile. Brunch was a set menu. A selection of starters to share (this included margarita pizza, burrata and the fritto misto) all very nice and mains were also very good I enjoyed the seafood risotto and for dessert we had a lovely selection of mini desserts to share. Restaurant is great for all occasions (celebratory events, meals with friends, date nights etc.) They also have a cute bar area if you just wanted to get some drinks. Will most definitely be returning to this restaurant.
