Hidden away from the busyness of East London and overlooking the beautiful Regents Canal you will find a small piece of Venezuela: Arepa & Co Haggerston. A cosy, yet buzzing place that will let you experience Venezuela.

The original Arepa & Co can be found overlooking Regent's Canal and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some of London's best Venezuelan cuisine whilst watching swans and kayaks pass by.

Delicious food for lunch, brunch or dinner, including a cocktail bar, a terrace and seating along the canal. The menu is mostly gluten-free with a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options.

The bright and colourful venue interior matches the vibrant menu, featuring an array of delicious and traditional Venezuelan dishes such as Cachapas, Arepas and Rice Bowls, all filled or topped with your choice of filling such as Pabellon (tasty shredded beef), Pernil (braised pork shoulder), Del Campo (black beans, plantain, avocado and cheese) and more! Whilst you're waiting for your choice of main, there's a delicious array of authentic small plates to try which are a perfect introduction to Venezuelan flavours.

The weekend sees one of the most popular brunches in London with Arepa serving up classic breakfast dishes with a South American twist as well traditional Venezuelan plates.

Located in Haggerston, overlooking Regent's Canal, Arepa & Co is just a 5 min from the Haggerston overground station.

Great food, first time trying out Venezuelan street food and it did not disappoint. Celebrated a birthday there and the staff was more than happy to help us store the cake in the fridge, and brought it out later for a surprise.

Great little Place for traditionalist Venuezelan food at a very affordable price range. The Arepas are clearly their main dish, but there’s lots of other things on offer if you feel like venturing out a bit. Well worth a visit! - Value for money? Absolutely - Worth a detour? A small one - Best for (occasion)? Nice flavours at a casual setting - Would I go back? Yes

The food is delicious, and the atmosphere feels just like home. However, I had a bit of an odd experience when I wanted the Venezuelan waiter to take my order so I could chat with him (as I'm Venezuelan as well). Instead, he suddenly passed my request to someone else, who then handed it off to yet another person simultaneously.
