I can say with confidence that the whole evening was an experience, the view, food and service were all top class. The food was perfectly portioned and tasted great with each individual flavour complimenting the other, and a special mention has to go to the service given by the waiter who was humorous, witty and professional making the the whole experience even better. Everything was perfect. Also note the express lift decelerating to the ground floor was so fast it made my stomach churn, this strangely enough added to the experience. Also it was very expensive but dining at the Shard on Christmas Eve is also a one off.

The Shard is an incredible place for special celebrations. The staff (Fabio) is so attentive, and the food and drinks are actually delicious. We were lucky to be seated by the window, giving us a stunning view of London. To top it off, they surprised us with two desserts, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’d highly recommend it for any special occasion!

Aqua Shard is undeniably beautiful, with its sleek and modern design perfectly complementing the breathtaking views of London from the 31st floor. The restaurant is quite dimly lit, which creates a cozy atmosphere and allows the city lights to truly shine at night—it’s an experience in itself. The bar offers an impressive selection of cocktails, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I’ll admit, I initially thought people came here just for the view, but the dishes were genuinely delicious and well-prepared. That said, the prices are quite high, as you might expect for such a prime location. While it’s an amazing spot to visit at least once, I’m not sure I’d return, given how many incredible dining options there are in London. Still, if you’re celebrating or just want an unforgettable evening with a view, Aqua Shard is worth considering!
