Inspired by North American Breakfast culture, Moose Coffee - Hope Street provides guests with a wholesome Yank welcoming and a menu chocked full of sumptuous Canadian and American Brunch items.

Moose Coffee has snowballed in popularity in recent years for its ‘more is more’ approach to breakfast, now with three venues across Liverpool. Championing classics like pancakes, waffles and mouth-watering French toast stacks, it’s the perfect morning treat to start the day off well.

Its savoury dishes are nothing to scoff at either: mountains of creamy scrambled eggs mixed with pesto, pine nuts and cured ham make up customer favourite ‘Liberty Moose’ and they get extra kudos for their tongue-in-cheek dishes - ‘The Covfefe’ has two savoury cheese pancakes topped with melted butter, fried eggs, back bacon and maple syrup.

It has a cosy, log cabin aesthetic perfect for curling up with a book and a coffee.

The Hope Street site is situated in a bustiling area of Liverpool, just a short walk from the University of Liverpool and the iconic Philharmonic Hall.

The Pancake Benedict was absolutely delicious! The pancake texture was perfectly soft and fluffy, adding a unique twist to the classic dish. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, with a rich, velvety yolk that tied everything together beautifully. I highly recommend trying it – a true treat for brunch lovers!

Not a great experience here today. Arrived 1045 and place was very busy, waited 5 minutes to be seated. Waited at least 15 mins before taking a drink order. We looked online the menu prior to arriving so we knew what we wanted to order, when the waitress came to take our order we’d both opted for an avocado based breakfast, informed that they had no avocado today so had to go over menu again. 1 of us us GF so looked at the menu online again, made second choice then to be told that the particular dish isn’t on menu anymore and the online menu hasn’t been updated, back to menu again and made a third choice. Food arrived, hardly any smoked salmon and it wasn’t very fresh, it was crusty in parts, eggs were not seasoned, no condiments on table to use and unable to get anybody’s attention to request some. Bacon very dry and the potato has was inedible and was left uneaten as it was laced in too much garlic. The only positive was the coffee was very good. Left very disappointed, definitely not worth £35, won’t be rushing back in a hurry

Amazing gluten free menu! Plenty of options. Definitely worth making the effort just to eat there. I had the New England Moose (GF - eggs, spinach, hollandaise).
