Quiet hotel, well situated by the river Mersey approx. 10 minute walk from shopping and refurbished Docklands areas. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely restaurant with good selection on menu and they cater for gluten free diet. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet with lots to choose from cereals, porridge, fruits, yoghurt, toast, tea and coffee for £19 or add an English fried breakfast for £23 great value. Well recommended.

I stayed here for well over 6 months with work. The rooms were always very clean and tidy and all the staff were great. My favourite experience of my time here was breakfast. The food and service was always amazing!! One morning I came down for breakfast at around 6am foolishly thinking it would be open, it was not. A member of staff spotted me and made me a takeaway breakfast in a bag and even made me a hot drink to go. I so regret not getting the member of staff's name but she was super. I only ate at the restaurant once at night but again the food and service was second to none.

Came up to watch the game and stay over. Such lovely friendly staff especially the lovely young lady who served us on Saturday pm. Thank you for upgrading us to a suite , what an unexpected treat! Fantastic hotel in lovely location , but the reason we would visit again was the stunning customer service we experienced. We absolutely loved visiting Liverpool. What a vibrant exciting and upbeat city !! Thanks again xx
