Had a fabulous meal in the bar and grill. Can highly recommend the pork chop, doesn't sound much but trust me, the flavours are incredible. Our server was Matt, and he was lovely, attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him. Joe on the bar was super also. All round a fabulous afternoon, with great food and drink in a relaxed setting. Well done guys, we will be back!

The hotel is well situated location especially if you want to be near the docks and Beatles museum. We were able to leave our luggage at reception as we couldn’t check in until 3pm. Staff were very friendly and informative. Rooms were clean but tired looking which was surprising. I would say basic and functional for a weekend stay. Little things were missing for the price paid, you would expect bottled water in the room, although there was a kettle with tea and coffee.

My first time staying with the Malmaison chain, and quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The boutique style of the hotel stood out on arrival. This continued into the lifts and room decor. The room was extremely comfortable and welcoming. But most importantly quiet, an excellent night's sleep, with a lovely shower and bath. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, with continental items available, and cooked breakfast made to order. The eggs benedict really set me right for the day. And this may sound funny, but the coffee from the automated machines was actually pleasant to drink unlike other chains! An excellent location on Princes Docks, with parking available immediately next door to the hotel. If I am in Liverpool in future, or another location with a Malmaison hotel, this will be the first chain to come to mind.
