Toby Carvery - Morley

I have been a couple of times with my elderly father. They are always very busy during peak times and try to serve quickly. The reason I’m writing this review is because the way a couple spoke to the woman who was carving that day. If someone is not just wanting meat and veg there are other options from the menu. These need to be requested before going up to the counter. For these items different styles of plate are used. I have worked on carvery myself and if someone wants veggie option it’s cooked fresh to order usually. The guest walk up and didn’t understand that they needed to do this. It is written on the menu. At the end of a busy lunchtime please don’t expect people who have been rushed off there feet to mind read and then complain about it. I was standing behind them when they paid. I told the person taking my payment the server had done nothing wrong. It’s very hot under those lights . Our food was lovely the server was helpful when we needed very thin slices as my dad has trouble chewing.

I recently visited Toby Carvery and had an outstanding experience! The food was delicious, with a fantastic selection of vegan options and fresh vegetables. What made the visit even better was the exceptional service from Nigel. He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Visited today with my family, really good value Childrens menu for my 9 year old and the carvery was far better than other Toby sites I've visited recently! The service was excellent from the moment we walked in with "Rachel" attending to our every need. Literally couldn't do enough for us and with a smile. Lovely to see someone enjoy their job these days! I would definitely return and soon. My favourite Toby so far in Leeds and Bradford!
