Walk through a flowered corridor and into a Victorian hideaway. The Lost and Found at Albion Place is Benedict Pike's enchanting secret club, boasting a well-laden bar.

Albion Place has been beautifully renovated, with the original features of the building being lovingly restored. In another lifetime, this stunning building served as a Gentleman's Club in the 1800's. Enter through a flowering corridor, which opens up into a majestic high-ceilinged room that houses an ornate indoor tree. It is a suitable home for the eccentric Victorian-themed Lost and Found franchise, lending character and an atmospheric touch to any Brunch.

A weekend isn't complete without a Bottomless Brunch and The Lost and Found deliver. You have your choice of free-flowing Aperol Spritz, Prosecco, Mimosa, as well as other cocktails alongside a varied menu. The Brunch dishes range from classic options such as smashed avocado on sourdough toast to more intriguing dishes such as the Green Shakshuka (slowly cooked spinach, leeks and peas with cumin, topped with poached free-range egg, Greek yogurt and rose harissa and served with charred flatbread).

For those with a sweeter tooth, The Lost and Found Knutsford serves a decedant Tiramisu French Toast, a Mascarpone and Coffee French Toast topped with hazelnut chocolate, Greek yoghurt and cocao powder!

Lovely decor, we didn't book but it was very quiet when we arrived 1.30pm. Only two other tables occupied. No one came to great us or offered us a table, so we just seated ourselves. It was then a good 10 minutes until we were approached and our drink and food order were taken. A further 10 minutes for a coke to arrive, followed by a further long wait and then us to prompt for our water to be brought to us . We requested a highchair and one was provided, but unfortunately, it only had one of its straps which meant one of the parents had to sit with a hand on the chair to stop the baby sliping through. Starters came. They were piping hot and very, very tasty. Further long wait, to which we were starting to panic slightly as we had a train to catch but then the mains arrived. Well worth the wait as they were lovely. We had a couple of the lite bite steaks, great value and the steaks were cooked to perfection, well seasoned. The guy we spoke to as leaving was very friendly and lovely to talk to but unfortunately, the service was very poor considering how quiet it was. A shame because the food was very good.

Me and my partner attended for Valentine’s Day, the atmosphere was amazing, bustling with people enjoying their time. Me and my partner booked for dining and were tabled in a lovely room with a mystique atmosphere, which was amazingly furnished. Straight away we were greeted by our lovely waitress, Taylor. She was very bubbly and friendly, as well as fast paced with her service, give that girl a raise because she’s getting her steps in! Moving onto the food, I had the crispy halloumi for my starter, and the 8oz sirloin steak, it was delicious and I would recommend, very demure, it was giving ✨✨✨
