The Cross is an award-winning pub that combines Michelin-starred food with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

The Cross is housed in a Grade II listed 19th-century inn and has been sympathetically restored to retain its heritage alongside contemporary touches that make it a fabulous place to enjoy great food, a casual atmosphere and informal but attentive service.

Under the guidance of chef-director Adam Bennett, The Cross have held a Michelin star for over nine years and boast three AA Rosettes. They also received a Good Food Award Gold Seal in 2021, so you'll always be sure of a good experience at The Cross.

The dishes frequently change to highlight exceptional seasonal produce, however the Sunday Lunch menu features dishes such as roast beef served with all the trimmings.

Located in the historic town of Kenilworth in the heart of Warwickshire, The Cross is just a short drive from Coventry and Warwick.

I really enjoyed my lunch here. As advertised, my experience was relaxed and refined. A complementary cheese snack and bread were provided. Service is on the slower, more relaxed side, giving you time to savour each bite. Dishes were presented beautifully, flavours were well-varied, and portion sizes were perfect. I will definitely be returning to try out more!

We were blown away by the food quality. Everything was developed to perfection. The courses are tiny but you won't leave the restaurant hungry. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere relaxed. Very satisfied with the price quality relationship.

We went here as a treat for our Wedding Anniversary, they had a card on our table which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. This was our first time at a Mitchell Star restaurant and we were not disappointed, everything was cooked lovely and the care and attention to detail was appreciated. The portions were small but tasty as you would expect with fine dining. Would definitely recommend for a treat, we had the al la Carte menu which consisted of a starter, main and dessert.
