Absolutely fantastic place to stay. All staff so friendly. Breakfast has great choice. Evening meals also offered good choice. Could not fault any of the food. Pleasant walk from hotel to Town centre. Would definitely recommend and hope to return some time in the near future (in the warmer weather so can take a trip to Sark)

The island of Guernsey was a spontaneous addition to a latest trip where I was very fortunate to have stayed at the Duke of Richmond Hotel. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting a resident manager, Díarmaíd, who went above and beyond to make my visit such a grand time! Every interaction I had with staff members alike in the hotel was incredibly welcoming and helpful, all making my visit to both the hotel and island an incredible time. The hotel is situated so central to shops, restaurants, parks, and other points of interest, making it very accessible to walk around and enjoy your time without wasting any time at all! After long days of adventuring, a warm bath was much enjoyed and the comfort of the beds at the hotel welcomed a good long rest! Without hesitation, I'd love to return and will suggest a stay at the Duke of Richmond to anyone I know travelling about!

What a tremendous treat of a hotel! The staff are fantastic and attentive and the service second to none! Lovely rooms. Small, but heated pool with sunbeds. Bar terrace with table service and the food and cocktails are amazing. Cocktails are a little slow to be served but worth the wait. It's in a great location - a short walk up the hill out of town, next to a tree lined park. I would definitely stay again and recommend.
