Sundays wouldn't be the same without having a Sunday Roast with your friends and family. This traditional Sunday meal dates back to the 1700s. During the industrial revolution, families would place a cut of meat into the oven as they got ready for church.​

At the Horse & Groom, only the finest local beef and pork is used for the roasts. The Cotswold roast beef uses the Striploin cut for texture and deep mature taste. The beef is cooked overnight to produce a tender slice and served rare. All the roast options are served with roasted potatoes, green beans, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding, carrot & swede mash & honey roasted parsnips.

Set in the beautiful village of Upper Oddington, The Horse and Groom Inn is close to the historic market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, at the heart of the Cotswolds.​

    We stayed in the Horse&Groom for a brief weekend and enjoyed every moment! Went for a short holiday with family in the Cotswold district and was delighted to find this gem! our rooms were clean and tidy and equipped with a coffee machine and a great shower, even got a very generous welcome basket with treats! staff were friendly and welcoming and helped with every request or question. no complaints at all! would like to come back once we’re in the area :)

    Amazing place!!!! Staff ultra friendly and.helpful and loved how they was so accommodating for the dogs, they had a dog menu plus bought them a blanket to sit on. Food was gorgeous had scallops and sea bass no complaints at all everything cooked to perfection. Wish I lived closer so could go again will come back in summer I think so can sit I'm your lovely beer garden. Really guys keep up the fab service

    Lovely cosy country pub with log fires, friendly helpful staff. Excellent restaurant with good service. Food was really good. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and I'd rather pay higher prices to ensure gems like this survive and don't become another statistic....
