The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere.

Henbrooks Steak & Seafood Grill's menu at the Horse & Groom Inn brings together the best of British meat, fish and seafood to deliver exquisite flavour with every bite.

Sundays wouldn't be the same without having a Sunday Roast with your friends and family. This traditional Sunday meal dates back to the 1700s. During the industrial revolution, families would place a cut of meat into the oven as they got ready for church.

At the Horse & Groom, only the finest local beef and pork is used for the roasts. The Cotswold roast beef uses the Striploin cut for texture and deep mature taste. The beef is cooked overnight to produce a tender slice and served rare. All the roast options are served with roasted potatoes, green beans, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding, carrot & swede mash & honey roasted parsnips.

Set in the beautiful village of Upper Oddington, The Horse and Groom Inn is close to the historic market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, at the heart of the Cotswolds.

Don’t be fooled by the dog friendly sign outside! They are dog tolerable at best! We walked in and were instantly met with a blonde waitress that had an attitude problem, one of our dogs was excited to see her and she holds her hands up and sternly says NO! This dog was under harness control and was nowhere near her, we asked for a dog bowl for our 2 dogs and was declined and told by the same moody waitress that she would put a bowl of water near the entrance of the pub for them? Like what? What’s so hard about letting them having a drink under the table like EVERY other pub in the country does, we were so put we drank our drinks and order a quick bite just to leave ASAP! Management need to sort her out and themselves out and be more dog friendly like your sign says outside. To also mention we had the crispy chicken bites and the duck salad and they felt extremely cheaply made and tasteless… avoid this place at all costs it’s not worth it.

Stayed at the local Rugby club camp site, walk is about 15 mins. Pub is probably one of the nicest I've ever been to. Lovely inside and great outside space. Friendly staff and met some nice visitors. The village is Oddington is stunning, fab houses.

Very cozy pub and the food was good - the sticky toffee pudding was really dense though, and the crumble had too much berry and not enough crumble; desserts could be improved. The service was quick and helpful and the mains were tasty. Big shout-out to the complementary smoky almonds served at the beginning with the drinks. On the plus side, the parking is quite big.
