Painswick is just beautiful. The Falcon Inn is location on the main high Street with ample parking behind. Staff were lovely. Room was disappointing as it looked a little shabby, but not chic. It is clear that there has been a light renovation on the room we stayed in, but the quality of the finish was poor. Our rooms did have great views over the graveyard of the beautiful church in Painswick and the bed was comfy. Bathroom was very clean too. Our deal included breakfast but not dinner. Dinner was which was nice enough but not amazing. Just felt at the price point we paid for the room (B&B) was little disappointing. But as stated it was more the quality of the room vs price rather than anything else.

The hotel is nice and comfy and has it's own parking lot for no extra fee. We loved staying at Painswick which is less touristy but still has it's charming spots like the church, its gardens, the library. Breakfast was great and we would've love being able to have dinner as well since it looked pretty cozy.

A lovely place with the most friendly staff you’ll meet, especially Dan! I drank a very nice pint of Tom Long from the local Stroud Brewery too. I’d say perfect for a stopover in Autumn and Winter.
