First visit here. Food was pretty good, pretty expensive for what it is though. Smash burger was tasty, chips were spot on. Mozzarella bites were lovely. Service, was great and not so great, waited a wee while to get our order in, finished our starters and waited 10/15 for our table to get cleared. Waitress was great, however might be understaffed and had to wait a few tables herself. Id probably visit again, was a good enough meal and the food was tasty. 3.5/5

Our waiter (can't remember his name) was second to none. The food was OK. There could have been more chips with the kids' meal. I also asked for just cucumber sticks on the kids' meal, and they gave 3 small sticks. Starters were lovely. Adult meals were OK. The kids meal was brought out with the starters but as there was a long wait for our mains my daughter had finished by the the time we got them. Overall, overpriced food and milkshakes & that was us on the deal menu and receiving a blue light discount. It was £60 (should have been £70) for £30 max worth of food. I doubt we will be back

Updated to 5 Stars. I really enjoyed my recent visit. Much improved service since my first visit, seated and served quickly, all menu items available and the food was fantastic! I will definitely return again in the future. This is a great improvement on my first visit back in September 2019 when I left a disappointed 3 star review: "Had to wait at the bar for a table for 15 minute which is not the end of the world but some items unavailable from bar menu while waiting and service was a bit slow throughout my visit. The place was not particularly busy, just low on staff. The food was good but not great. Felt it was a little pricy for what we got. Overall not a bad place for a meal but will try other food options at the fort first before I return."
