Me and my best friend came here today after school and it was a wonderful experience. We both got kids Sundays and roasts which were delicious and so cheap. Claire and Charlotte were lovely and we will definitely be coming here again.

Had a great Sunday lunch at Toby carvery..... The place was very busy, but the staff were excellent & it didn't seem like a chore. Food was good & plentiful.... I'd love to post a photo of the food but we ate it before we thought about a picture..... We will try & take a photo on our next visit. Excellent. 😀

Service is poor. I have been to Toby Carvery many times before over the past decade or so and doubt I'll be going back. Firstly, I was told to wait at the entrance yet there was no host there and after 5 minutes or so I walked into the restaurant to sit down at an empty table and told the server if I could sit here to which the server said to wait at the front and wait for a host. I got up and went to the front entrance and no one showed up.despite me waiting and being told to wait there and worst of all there were staff walking past me not making eye contact or willing to engage. I felt invisible. I walked up to the bar and asked to be seated. Finally, got somewhere but not once did they check on my table in the dinning room and I would have liked more ice for my J20 for instance. When it came to paying the host never asked how everything was. Very poor service indeed. It maybe an idea for Toby Carvery should reflect back on this for the comfort of future guests.
