The Ivy Exeter is part of The Ivy Collection, which remains true to the values of the original Ivy restaurant, famous for its celebrity clientele and superior dining experience. Interiors feature sumptuous Art-Deco detail, marble floors and striking burnt orange banquettes.

Breakfast at The Ivy is a relaxed yet sophisticated experience. Start off with a choice of refreshing juices or coolers while you choose from a range of Breakfast options including The Ivy Full English Breakfast or one of the light and healthy plates. The Breakfast menu also includes a range of teas and coffees.

Brunch is a more decadent affair with starters such as the Whiskey Barrell Wood Smoked Salmon followed by the Crab and Queen Scallop Nero Linguine as a main course. For an extra indulgent experience, why not enjoy a cocktail from a Watermelon & Strawberry Bellini to a Salted Caramel Espresso Martini or a glass of Champagne with your Brunch?

The Ivy Sunday Roast is served with all the trimmings. Indulge in rosemary roasted potatoes, green beans with almonds, carrot and swede mash and a Yorkshire pudding finished with a red wine gravy.

The Ivy Exeter is located by the grounds of Exeter Cathedral. The restaurant sits within easy reach of the Guildhall shopping Centre, Phoenix theatre and the Corn Exchange, making it the ideal venue for pre-show dining or post-shopping drinks.

Luckily I won’t my afternoon tea for 2 as I wouldn’t have paid for it. Despite putting it on the booking and also a phone call plus telling the waitress, we still ended up with salmon on one plate. We have reaction to salmon!! The chicken brioche was below par, a few thin strips of breaded chicken escalope covered in garlic mayo and 2 obviously shop bought muffins topped it of. It was pleasant but not what I thought it would be bearing in mind the reputation. Plus side, hot chocolate was nice.

A first-ever visit to the famed Ivy restaurant. We'd been recommended to try their breakfast over later meal options, so this is what we chose to do. Overall a very pleasant experience. We both opted for their special festive breakfast which consisted of a choice of one of two healthy juice options, a small cooked breakfast and two different small pastries - at a set price of £17.95 each. Different breakfast options are available. Possibly slightly overpriced at £17.95, but worth it for the exclusive service and surroundings I'd suggest. Be aware also that a discretionary 12.5% service charge is included in your bill, and that a bottled water will set you back £5.

Went there for a birthday celebration with my partner. The decor is stunning and relaxing place to sit and eat. Booked an evening meal but we were early and they didn’t have a problem moving our reservation. We were waited on by Robyn who was professional but also friendly and helpful. The food was presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
