At Hotel du Vin, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’. Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. The roasts are served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires

Formerly an Eye Infirmary, Hotel du Vin Exeter has historic walled gardens and striking architecture, creating the backdrop for a special Afternoon Tea experience.

Gloriously convenient for the centre of Exeter with a large public car park two minutes walk away. Great facilities and helpful staff. We chose to use this bespoke hotel to offer our Yoga Teacher Training Courses. Very pleased we did.

The location of the hotel is very handy to the center of Exeter will it being quite central to the town, this however does give its own issue as the parking adjacent to the hotel is very limited and therefore must be booked in advance especially if you have a requirement for blue badge parking. But don't let this put you off as the hotel is very nice with an excellent staff and most importantly very clean rooms, comfortable beds, tea, coffee and hot chocolate on the hospitality tray. Another important thing to note is that the sound proofing for the room is excellent cutting out all the traffic noise from the adjacent main road lending itself to an undisturbed sleep. And of course it is always nice to know your hotel has a swimming pool to relax and refresh after a long journey.
