    First time in Exeter. It was a day trip from Bristol. Weather was horrible. We found the local BrewDog to get out of the rain and eat lunch. Best beer of the day was Keep Currant and Cherry On by DOT Brew out of Dublin, Ireland. Lunch was wings. Everything was perfect. No complaints.

    Went for a family birthday meal. Managed to get a table upstairs away from the main bar. I had a couple of free birthday pints and everyone enjoyed the food.

    Stopped for lunch today. I came in at 12.10 it was pretty deserted, perhaps 4 or 5 tables partially full. I placed the order, which was a burger and a kids nuggets. It took 40 minutes to come - no idea why it took so long. When it came it was pretty tasteless and I guess I now know why it was empty. Mediocre food and long waits are not a good combination.
