5.02 months agoMy family and I didn't associate for Christmas, so this was our Christmas meal together. It was simply delightful, delicious, and awesome food. Some of us choose to have dessert too. Excellent customer care value and service.

5.03 months agoThis is a beautiful house in a stunning setting with picturesque outside space, gardens and seating. Plenty of parking. The view to the garden from the table just perfect. The staff all keen, patient, helpful and easy to talk to. Louis served us and was very attentive. Just refurbished so fresh paint and fittings. The deck is impressive, master carver happy to talk. The food was perfect, roast potatoes wish I could do them like that. Gravy the same. Had beef, pork and ham, all flawless. Dauphinoise potatoes a hint of garlic, were lovely. Mac and cheese, mash, all great. Spotlessly clean. Easily the best place to go for a Sunday roast type meal by miles. No space for desert. Thank you.

3.0a month agoGood service, but the food did not impress me. The vegetables looked ok when they first brought them out, but when we got there they looked old and tired. The cauliflower cheese had no cheese at all! They didn't have a nut roast, and the only fish was a salmon covered in pastry, which I didn't choose because it had over 900 calories! The gammon was very salty, the pork and turkey were very dry, and the beef was apparently the best meat of all. The herbal tea doesn't come in a pot, just a small cup. The bailey latte was very nice. The place was warm and spacious. Good for families. We spent less than £40 for the two of us, but I only liked the potatoes!
