My suggestion is go to Queens Arms for really good pub food, good mixed cocktails and a warm and homey environment. The Chicken Pie is flavorful and whomever made the drinks did a great job. A really good Negroni. The chips were cooked perfectly a slight crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. 20-30 per person.

Had steak and chips and pie of the day which was chicken. The only pastry in the pie was the top layer, the rest underneath was just the chicken filling. Felt more like a chicken soup with bread on top. Food tasted good but nothing amazing. Make sure you book ahead, it’s popular and gets booked up quickly. The rugby was on, so we also watched that and the atmosphere was nice. Kitty, our server, was great!

The Queen's Arms was fantastic for our group of 4. It's a good idea to get reservations as it always seems to be busy. We sat in a church-box-like little "room" with its own half door. Our waiter staff was fantastic, friendly, and informed. We had the onion rings and loaded fries as appetizers, and they were both absolutely fantastic. The loaded fries are loaded with, among other things, barbecue beef or pork. It was delicious! For our main, we had the hamburger, the fish and chips, and the Mac cheese. The fish and chips were quite a large piece of very well prepared, Haddock. All were phenomenal, and I'd recommend any of them and would definitely recommend the Queen's Arms.
