Food is great. The scallops is well seasoned. The beef cooked well and the slow cooked pork rib is soft and flavourful. Price is high but portions size is not very generous. The highlight for me was the Black Forest cheesecake — rich and creamy, with a scoop of pistachio ice-cream. Really love the ice-cream. The service was excellent, but overall, I felt the prices were on the higher side for the portions offered.

Expected more but still very happy. Firstly I should say that this was a New Years Eve menu that was really disappointing. The steak was offered with no vegetables for example and no vegetable sides to add if fancies. I went for scallops. Both came and they were delicious even though after two bites they were gone. I had the venison sausage and mash which I have to say was disappointing. Limited flavour but the wife had the rib eye which was fantastic but at nearly twice the price of the sausage I would expect as much. The dessert of sticky toffee pudding was lovely and the Xmas pudding was like nothing I have ever eaten before, absolutely epic. Service was bang on.

Ollie was our server, we came for my birthday celebration and did the beef wellington experience. That food is enough for 3/4 people!! We had to be rolled out of the restaurant, I’ve never been so full! They changed some starter and dessert for me due to a dairy intolerance, knowing the pastry of the wellington had dairy, I wanted to limit everything else so I could indulge on that! We had an amazing time, our server Ollie made the experience and provided some humour when we mentioned the amount of food!! 10/10 , we are already planning our return. If you do the experience, you get all three starters and desserts, we thought you got to choose one out of the three so we’re very suprised! And very full!
