We had an excellent two-night stay at Malmaison Dundee. The staff throughout our time were fantastic and so approachable. The room was spacious and very clean, with a great view of the nearby V&A. As part of our stay, we had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant. The steak was superb and the whole meal was excellent value at the promotional 50% off running on Thursdays. The manager also took the time to ensure we didn’t need to pay more than was needed in conjunction with our existing dinner offer that came with our booking. The location is perfect, a couple minutes walk to the train station, the V&A and eateries. We couldn’t have asked for anything more during our stay.

My partner and I attended a wedding here recently with an overnight stay. The hotel and room itself are lovely however, the windows are not properly soundproof so you will hear a lot or noise from the pub downstairs if you are facing it like we were, something to bare in mind. Also the heating/air con was really noisy even when turned off, didn't bother me too much but my partner struggled to sleep. The venue for the wedding, dinner and reception was lovely and the staff were really great. Sadly the food was not great especially the main, I do not feel it was worth what the bride and groom had to pay for it. Overall it was a good experience, beautiful venue but there are a few improvements needed within the hotel and with the food/execution of the meal.

The hotel in general is good. Our stay was short, only for 2 nights. The breakfast offered freshly cooked plates, which we enjoyed. The hotel's location is excellent; it is close to the train station and the sea. For the check-in, the queue was very long. Additionally, there was a noticeable wood smell on the entire floor. The room was generally small, and one of our rooms had a fridge while the other did not.
