Mix reviews. First time I went had a great experience took the tartare which was delicious followed by the grilled fish with was also delicious. Would have given 5 stars. This time I ordered the bone marrow burger. It Was dry, very salty and served with a side salad without oil or vinaigrette wasn’t sure what the plan was with that. I definitely wouldn’t order again and service was on the cold side compared to first time. Would had given it a 3 stars at best. So averaging on the good side I’ll give it a 4 but based on this experience I don’t think I’ll return.

Warm and cozy with beautiful Christmas dinner. It was spacious enough for my group and the meal was lovely. Kudos to the chef and his team and thanks to the waiters too.

Absolutely shocking service, the worst I’ve ever experienced in Dublin. We arrived as a group of 15 (27 year olds) with a booking for a birthday. Our order wasn’t taken for an hour after we arrived. I (the host) ordered a bottle of wine when seated, I had to ask FOUR times and 2 separate staff before I received it, 40 minutes later. I had received the wrong wine as well! Our food came out a while later, I received my steak, then my chips 10 minutes later and pepper sauce after another five, when my steak was cold (took a further 10 minutes and 2 requests to receive salt). A couple had to leave 2hrs into the booking, having time to only eat their tomahawk (expensive) steak as the chips and sauce hadn’t yet arrived. It was shocking service, we politely spoke to the manager to give feedback and said we were still happy to pay service charge, she was belligerent blaming us for their poor service and spoke to us like children. This completely ruined the night and we were embarrassed to bring our friends here, a previous favourite of ours. To top it off, they “forgot” to take the €150 deposit we paid off the bill, we eventually got it back 20 minutes later…. well over €1000 bill and none of us were pleased.
