Fantastic breakfast and manager went above and beyond made us feel welcomed when we walked in even engaged conversation with my nephew made him feel comfortable. Food was excellent bacon was soft sausages were cooked lovely. Everything was hot. The unlimited hot drinks the coffee was delicious can’t fault the food. Even at 9:30am wasn’t that busy.

We went out for a carvery tonight and the food was lovely, we came with our autistic son and they sat us in a nice quiet room which was great for our son. Angela our server was lovely she made sure we was accommodated for and looked after us giving us plenty of Yorkshire puddings as my son will only eat meat and Yorkshire puddings. We had a lovely time and really appreciated Angela’s service, she went above and beyond. 10/10 🌟

Overall really disappointed and displeased with the service provided today. Whilst I appreciate that you can get busy on a Sunday the lack of service to our table was appalling. After being seated we waited 10 minutes before being asked if we had drinks on the way, to which we had said no and then ordered a drink. Our waitress who was called Freya looked disinterested and made no effort to look like she enjoyed her job. After our food we looked through the dessert menu with the idea of ordering 2 adult desserts and one kids ice cream that is supposed to come with the kids carvery. We waited patiently for the waitress to take away our plates and ask if we wanted a dessert however this did not happen, we sat for 40 minutes waiting. A table that had arrived after us had their plates cleared away as soon as they’d finished eating and were asked about dessert! Still we sat waiting to see if we were going to be asked and cleared, the child who was with us even started to say she was bored and ask ‘why is that woman walking past us’ (that woman being the waitress in our area). Fed up of waiting longer since tables who had arrived a lot later than us were clearly being waited on and we were not we walked to the bar to pay and go find pudding elsewhere. Behind the bar was again Freya and another male who were stood having a conversation about diarrhoea and sickness. We asked to pay and then left, not once were we checked on to see if everything was okay even at the bar when paying. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service and now at home with an upset 6 year old who wants to know why the woman ignored them and why they were waiting 40+ minutes after eating to still not be asked if they would like the ice cream that was offered.
