Can’t fault it really, efficient personable staff. Always love proper grub, unfortunately our discount code wasn’t valid for a Sunday, school boy error, also bought the Pepsi at £4 refillable but couldn’t manage more than a glass.

Came in on Monday for a roast with my two kids. One in arms and one walking next to me. Wanted to say thank you to Jamie-Leigh (I'm really sorry if I spelt wrong). She welcomed us in sorting the kids out some pencils and paper to keep them occupied whilst we waited for meat to finish. Next I would like to thank the chef (James) if I remember that right, who noticed I was carrying the little one and two plates as my son is a bit too young to help out, and called Jamie-Leigh over to help me carry the food to the table. She even grabbed us some extra gravy so I don't have to keep making the trip. James then hand delivered us our desert. Honestly, I can't thank them both enough. Both are very allert of customers' needs. Noticed my struggle and immediately offered help. At a time of struggle, when i was holding back tears , they turned around a stressful experience for the best. My sons words were "that lady and the chef are super nice mummy." Honestly, thank you so so much. Very happy customer. 😊

There were six of us in the party, including two very hungry and irritable children. We had booked our table for 6:00 PM but arrived at 5:30 PM, hoping they could accommodate us slightly earlier due to the children's restlessness. My friend was informed by a gentleman that this would be possible and that we just needed to wait for the table to be prepared. Relieved, she returned to the car, and we all unloaded, including a stroller. Upon entering the establishment, however, we were kept waiting until 6:10 PM. I remarked that, had we known the wait would be so long, we would have taken the children to Binley Park to keep them occupied rather than entering early. Later in the evening, we observed that the service was notably slow. On several occasions, members of our party had to either signal staff for assistance or actively seek someone out to address our needs. By the time desserts were served, I requested the bill immediately, as we could not wait any longer for service. On a positive note, the food was well-prepared and full of flavour. However, clear and accurate communication is all any customer asks for, and unfortunately, this fell short during our visit.
