Toby Carvery - Binley Park Coventry

Oh wow, absolutely delicious. The host (Wolves fan) is a really good representative for the company; professional, courteous, and cheerful. Our waitress was delightful, too. Cracking place for lunch.

Toby Carvery in Binley is one of my go-to places, and for good reason! The food is lovely, though the quality of the meat can sometimes be hit or miss. Some joints tend to be fattier than others, so I always play it safe and go for the turkey—it’s absolutely beautiful, perfectly cooked, and never disappoints. 🤌🏼 One of the highlights of our visits has been the tall, ginger chef; my 8 year-old son has taken a real liking to him, and I have to say, his customer service is always spot on. He goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the way he’s made my son so happy has turned Toby Carvery into one of his favorite places to eat. He absolutely deserves recognition for his excellent attitude and friendliness. The only downside for me is the front-of-house experience. When you arrive, you’re greeted by the host post (make sure you put your car registration in to avoid a fine!). However, the staff at the entrance are often inattentive, and you’re usually left standing there waiting for someone to seat you. It would make such a difference if staff acknowledged customers with a simple “Sorry about the wait, someone will be with you shortly.” That said, the tall young lad on front-of-house is a standout - he’s polite, approachable, and leaves a good impression. Overall, it’s a great place for a hearty meal, and with a bit of improvement on the front-of-house service, it could be even better. We’ll definitely keep coming back, especially for the turkey and the warm atmosphere the chefs bring to the place!

Can’t fault it really, efficient personable staff. Always love proper grub, unfortunately our discount code wasn’t valid for a Sunday, school boy error, also bought the Pepsi at £4 refillable but couldn’t manage more than a glass.
