Booked a table for special occasion and had special request. No attention paid to that. Have been expecting a bit more from the food and cocktails too. It’s just average. Cocktails have been very watery. Apart that it’s excellent location and it’s nice atmosphere.

Would have been 5 stars but had to wait 20 minutes to get our plates cleared and our drinks menu was very sticky. The food was excellent, great choice of drinks and lady working behind the bar was very helpful.

I enjoyed the food for the type of restaurant this was. I thought it would be a lot worse. I had a chicken kebab and my husband had a plant burger. We shared the cookie dough platter. It was super sickly and a big portion. The service was on the slower side but given the size of the place I was unsuprised. The waitress was nice. They had a good alcohol menu. The restaurant is in the town centre next to the town hall. I'm not sure it is accessible for wheelchairs or prams as there are stairs leading up to it and also lots of stairs to get to the toilets. We paid £69 for 2 course each (2 people). The automatically add a 10% service charge to the bill. They also hand you a device to fill out some feedback which I did not like. We booked in advance I am glad we did as it did get really busy, however I'm not sure if this was normal as Ipswich were at home and there was a show at the regent starting at the same time. There were still a few walk ins. .
