Popped in after a long cycle and was very hungry. Got seated quickly and just as we sat down we were asked for drinks and food orders. Incredibly fast service (maybe slightly too fast as we hadn’t even opened the drinks menu). Luckily most people know what they are getting already so ordered and went straight down. Upgraded to king size but probably wasn’t necessary. Food was tasty and exactly as expected from the Toby Carvery.

Warm welcome when we arrived and were seated straight away. The waitress took the time to explain how the carvery worked etc and took our drinks order. Good service. Food: Obviously because it was a carvery everything was being kept warm under hot lights/on hot plates. There was plenty of choice and the person carving the meat explained everything really well. The only downside was that the meat was tough and food was only warm. Having said that it was ok and of course I went back for a second helping! Overall I was satisfied. It was good value for money and the restaurant was well presented and clean (inc the toilets)

The food was tasty, and the staff was friendly! However, the tables were a bit squeezed together, making moving around the place a bit tough. Overall, it’s recommended to try their Sunday Carvery!
