Great food, nice staff and lovely surroundings- would definitely recommend the breakfast club! We’ve been to the breakfast club twice now- both times the food has been excellent and the staff approachable. It sells a variety of breakfast/brunch style dishes, including pancakes, English and American style breakfasts as well as lots of Mexican style food. We had Huevos Rancheros, the “big stack” pancakes and milkshakes. All the food and drink was delicious. The service was slightly slow the first time we went, but it was busy so this made sense. The second time we went, it was a lot quicker. Both times the staff were friendly though. The breakfast club is also well located in Chelmsford, only a few mins from the city centre and near multiple car parks.

Unlike London branches this wasn’t too busy and there were no queues. Food was really good and the chips along with the fried potatoes were the best I have ever had. Also they have the largest tobasco bottles I have ever seen! One of the seven wonders of Chelmsford.

Great food and coffee, pricy but it's guaranteed to satisfy. Only downside are the wait times, waiting for food then waiting for the bill seems to take a long time. I've been twice in the last month and had the same problem each time. Waiting staff are nice and if you highlight you have been waiting a bit too long they're polite and professional enough to try to amend the issue. I'd recommend this place, the breakfast selection is much better than the other cafes in Chelmsford, but try reserving ahead of time or avoiding on the weekends, or if you're really need to eat and you can't wait.
