Carvery was very filling, however the cauliflower cheese had virtually no cheese and very hard cauliflower. Meats were bland, horseradish sauce was horrid. Best bits were the roast potatoes ( and they tasted reheated). Staff friendly, however no meet and greet and it was unclear on how to order.

Sat here now trying to get the kids some breakfast. Absolutely shocking service, every member of staff that is working this morning need sent to a customer service workshop. The breakfast was empty for over half an hour, had to go and ask staff if they were putting any food out, ended up asking for a refund after 40 minutes. No apologies, no "we're extremely busy" nothing. I'm not surprised as the chef/cook whatever you want to call him looks like he's on another planet. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here, I don't know whether it's been took over by new staff or what but this morning was absolutely shocking.

At last, found the ultimate carvery. The law of averages says it existed, but it has eluded me for xx years. This was the best carvery I have ever eaten! Choice of 4 meats, all were cooked to absolute perfection ( had to try them all). Never found this before, could always fault at least 1. So glad I had the large option, so more meat, yum. All the veg I had were also cooked to perfection (not the usual hard offerings). Also, nothing was "peppered". Way, way too many food suppliers are putting high levels of pepper in everything so that you cannot taste the food, just taste the pepper. No sign of it here. The staff were very helpful, polite and cheerful. Can I award 6 stars please?
