Food has gone downhill with the new owners but staff all very nice and helpful. This was the Napoli pizza, not particularly impressive given that the pizzas used to be amazing when owned by Oakman Inns. Will be back though, and hopefully able to give a better review.

Came into for lunch with our two month old child. One of us is gluten free and there were plenty of gluten free dishes and alternatives. Food was good and came out quickly. Staff were friendly and hospitable and accommodated our unexpected pram without fuss. Only tiny downside was that it took a bit longer than ideal to get the menus. We’ve been before in the pods for a birthday meal (recommended in summer) and the bar is good if you fancy just popping in for a drink. Plenty of parking and well sign posted off the road

If you want better service don’t book a pod. Twice we had to go into the restaurant to ask for things as we were left to our own devices. Food was dry and not offered sauces or extra drinks. We won’t be rushing back. I did mention this when receiving the bill but was told it wasn’t his problem as he was busy at the bar….. helpful.
