Just because it's an all round 4 does not make it a bad thing. Really felt looked after and enjoyed my meal. Had a locals feel despite a chain and felt relaxed and satisfied.

The carvery was up to its usual standard with a Toby. But the service was very good. One of our party has a mushroom allergy. The manageress came and had a chat, with info of what not to eat at the carvery. Thank you for looking after us.

I was very disappointed in the beef that I was offered. I can only describe it as a slice of fat. When I queried it ,the attitude of the guy doing the carving was. like it or lump it. I then had lamb even tho'my first choice was beef. The waiter offered to get me some decent meat but I had the lamb by then so I declined his offer. It was the attitude of the guy doing the carving which was so disappointing. Usually the staff are so accommodating. They really try their best for you.
