At Hotel du Vin, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’.

Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. The roasts are served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires

Hotel du Vin Bristol is set within the Sugar House, a lovingly restored collection of Grade II listed former sugar warehouses, beautifully transformed into a stylish boutique hotel.

Amazing wine tasting experience with Will the sommelier. He spoke to us about the wines, the origin, how to smell and taste. The history of wine. It was a fantastic few hour experience. Couldn’t recommend the experience more. Fantastic intimate experience in the wine cellar. Exceeded all our expectations and more. Please give it a go as something fun to do. So entertained, educated and informed.

I did not stay here as a guest, I went to the French bistro and I can say it is very delicious . The food is served in an elegant way and in the menu is brilliantly paired with a wine option (done by a sommelier). They also have an extensive options of French wines. I had the salmon as an entree and main was gnocchi. Totally recommended Will definitely go back

Went here for breakfast this morning. Thought it might be a bit posh for me and my friend. Maybe the staff would not make us feel welcome. How wrong I was…. Soon as we arrived we felt welcome. The service was prompt and very professional. The food was spot on. Recommend the eggs Benedict. We could help ourselves to as much coffee , juice , pastries and toast. £20 each was a very fair price considering what was included.
