At Hotel du Vin, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’.

Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. The roasts are served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires

Hotel du Vin Bristol is set within the Sugar House, a lovingly restored collection of Grade II listed former sugar warehouses, beautifully transformed into a stylish boutique hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel du Vin Bristol, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. It’s a very atmospheric place with a unique charm that makes it stand out. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, offering both comfort and style. The staff were absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was another highlight—delicious, high-quality dishes that made every meal a treat. Located in the city center, it’s one of the best places to stay in Bristol. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a place with soul, where every detail adds to its character. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in Bristol!

A great find, very friendly staff, Roberto was extremely professional and helpful with his suggestions. The breakfast choices were varied and catered for all diets. We stayed in a suite with a very comfortable super King bed. A shower that you could hold a party in . Roll top bath. We attended a concert and found the hotel the perfect location at only a 6 minute walk to the venue. Already arranging our next visit.
