4.03 months agoThe food here is a bit pricy but I do have to admit, it is tasty! We ordered the burratta with parma ham, carbonara and spinach pasta. The proportions for the pasta are great but it does feel like they skimpt out on the proportion for the parma ham starter....it just looked like it was torn recklessly and it was very little compared to the buratta. Other than that, food could be close to perfect! The service was okay. Our waiter gave the vibe that hes only nice to us because were the customer...which is okay but just seemed like he didnt want to talk to us.

1.010 months agoPossibly the worst experience I've ever had. Myself and family came here for lunch Monday afternoon. It was dead quiet, yet after sitting for nearly 20 minutes the waitress came and took our order. We ordered from the set menu. The starter came first and was delicious. But after this we waited over an hour for our mains and they obviously forgot as the waitress came back over and asked if we'd had our starters yet?! We then received our mains which was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. It was some watered down poor excuse for spaghetti with hardly any sauce and not much in the bowl (pic for reference). We then waited ages after and they came to us again to ask if we wanted dessert even though we'd pre ordered already ! Come on guys ! Overpriced with dreadful food and poor service. The bill came and I loathed paying nearly £70 for that awful food.

1.0in the last weekWe love Carluccio’s usually but today was so frustrating. We booked a table for 5:15 via their online booking system only to discover it closes a 5pm so they couldn’t serve us. It’s such a mission to get the family there all together and we were left stranded with hungry kids. The website lets you book up until 6pm but be warned… they shut at 5pm on Sundays! Seriously need to update the website. The manager was so lovely about it and really wanted to help but all the staff needed to get home and everything was shut down.
