Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’.

Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. Choose from Roast Sirloin of Beef or Roast Chicken & Stuffing, served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires.

    Great location and relaxing break. Friendly staff, quality food at breakfast and evening meal. Offered vouchers to use in the bar in exchange for limited room service. Comfortable room, spacious bathroom and a balcony but too cold to use! Definitely use again.

    We loved our two night stay here last week. We booked the junior suite for two nights - amazing room! We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and had a super dinner too. The receptionist, Michelle, was super helpful and friendly and our waitress at breakfast, Katarina, made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend.

    A very happy Christmas Day spent with family at Hotel du Vin, Brighton. On arrival we had the warmest of welcomes from the ladies on reception and then an equally lovely experience with the staff serving our welcome drinks. The food, the staff, our whole experience was wonderful. Seamlessly perfect - thank you to everyone for making our day so special.
