Went here for both breakfast and Sunday roast. The place feels a bit outdated but the service makes up for it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a small crowd. Standard full english. Eggs seem to have been out for a bit. Sunday roast was quite busy. No complaints about the food. Standard Sunday roast. Nothing spectacular. Just a decent, cheap meal with a great environment to spend time with friends/ family.

Usual toby carvery food. Decent enough. Unfortunately there was a wait to be seen by anyone to be seated. There was a really long wait at the carvery to be served. They’d ran out of various items, including gravy so people were waiting for that for a long time. The sticky toffee pudding was dry. The woman that looked after us was lovely and really made us feel welcome.

Typical Toby carvery, food was nice but the staff wouldn't let us order a child's meal so we had to pay for an adults which is twice the price! The girl carving the meat may as well have done it with a hammer too, more training needed I would say. But the staff that came to the table were friendly and polite
