First proper day of being open so I thought I’d go in for breakfast with my pooch. Brown’s have done a lovely job with the interior bringing it up to date from a tired looking Toby carvery. I was greeted by a friendly chap who sat us down by the toilets on the bottom level, I was happy here sat in the sun on a nice & level table for 2. I ordered a cappuccino & a traditional breakfast which came to £19.20 (inc a £1.75 compulsory 10% service charge which the staff do get to keep). The drink came first which was lovely & a perfect warm up to the frosty walk I’d just done. A very nice touch with a dog bowl of fresh water for pooch. The breakfast arrived around 20mins later but was fresh. The sausages were beautiful along with the 2 perfectly fried eggs. The mushroom was very tasty but a little too salty for me. I’d consider opting for a larger pot of beans & just to give the butter a little melting before serving. Overall though it was a very warm & pleasant first experience of Brown’s restaurant & we will be returning for sure. 🐾8.5/10

My friend and I popped in for breakfast yesterday. Well worth a visit . Loved the decor ! We enjoy Browns in Birmingham so we’re delighted to have a local branch too. Food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly It was very quiet when we arrived but began to fill up as lunch time approached. We asked to see the separate function room and that looks fab . I really hope this Resturant does well - it’s a perfect setting for it.

Lovely place, great decor, great service. A little bit pricey when you compare the quality of the food to Miller and Carter in Sutton Park. 2 fillet steaks, 1 side, 1 bottle of prosecco = £132 I think it was maybe £20 too much, however I'd still go back and give it another go.
