Came to try the 2 for £15 brunch deal. Some really nice options but we both went for English breakfasts - one classic and the other vegan. We both requested no tomato or mushrooms but as you can see, they forget or didn’t pay attention. Food was a 3.5 out of 5 but due to the deal I’d bump it up to a 4.5 especially with for the vegan fritter thing which was delicious! A whole plate of those would be perfect! Coffee came with a shot of smarties which was random and we had to google it as typically coffee comes with a biscuit as not many people want sugar coated chocolate in the morning. There’s also a petition online asking All Bar One to have real smarties instead of off brand. Random. Although service was friendly, there was clearly only one person working on the floor doing everything and she did her best with what she had Overall I’d go for the brunch deal again as the experience was a solid 3.5/5 and worth the money. Sitting outside can very noisy though due to the trains

I thoroughly enjoy going for a social catch up with friends. However after taking two sips of my drink I was left with a whole glass full of ice. As one of the largest drinks brands in the UK, M&B should review the specifications on their cocktail menu to offer better value for money. On a Thursday night at 9.30pm there were 2-3 groups including us in the entire venue. Improving the drink volume will keep customers happy and offer better value for money. I could have stayed at home made 6 times the volume of drink for half the money. The staff team were pleasant in explaining they made the drink to their specification and nothing can be done to correct the drink. Disappointed in the drab corporate narrative around prices and value. Look at my glass after the drink was gone, leaving ice.

Alongside two other associates we needed a substantial brekky to see us right for our multi-million mile train journey back to Newcastle. It was a Sunday morning so not many joints were functional at this obscene time of day (10.00). Three of us scored a Full English plus a filter coffee each. This hit our spots bang on the money. Ok: it's only breakfast and it's not a specialist eatery. However full marks in this instance for nice food, great service, a relaxed atmosphere and a decent price tag.
