A Taste of Belfast History at The Wolff Grill Nestled within the historic Titanic Hotel, The Wolff Grill offers a refined dining experience with breathtaking views of Belfast's iconic landmarks. The restaurant exudes an air of understated elegance, creating a perfect ambience for a special occasion or a memorable night out. On a recent visit, I opted for the classic Shepherd's Pie, and it was nothing short of divine. The tender lamb, slow-cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth with a rich and savoury flavour. The creamy mashed potato topping, golden brown and slightly crisp, provided a delightful contrast to the succulent lamb. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, a testament to the chef's culinary expertise. We also had Perfectly Cooked Fillet of steak. This fillet steak was cooked to a perfect medium. It boasted a beautifully seared exterior while remaining tender and juicy within.  The flavour was rich and satisfying, showcasing the quality of the cut.  A truly exceptional steak experience. The Wolff Grill is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the delectable cuisine to the impeccable service and stunning views, every aspect is carefully curated to create a truly unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend The Wolff Grill to anyone seeking a taste of Belfast's culinary history.

I had an excellent first visit to this restaurant, so much so that I later brought my in-laws for a meal. The food and service initially lived up to the grand theme of the place. However, I’ve since noticed a decline, and my most recent visit was disappointing enough that I won’t be returning. This is unfortunate because the ambiance and building are genuinely appealing. From the start, service was inattentive. Upon arrival, I requested a high chair for our toddler and waited five minutes while about 4 or 5 staff stood chatting nearby. Eventually, I retrieved a chair myself. Later, a hot bowl of soup was placed directly in front of the baby, which we immediately asked to move away from the baby, and we had to request a spoon separately. The food itself was underwhelming. My salad felt like something I could make better at home. My glass of wine was off—likely poured from a bottle that had been open too long—so much so that I couldn’t finish it. The mains, which took an hour to arrive, lacked cohesion and tasted uninspired. My mother’s dish was passable but no better than pub fare. Dessert, when it finally arrived after another long wait, was average, and once again, utensils were forgotten. This was my birthday dinner, shared with two mothers for Mother’s Day. We entered at 18:15 and left at 20:30—not because we lingered, but because service was slow. By the end, I was more focused on leaving than arguing about the bill. No one checked in on us or acknowledged the delays, which made it clear that either they didn’t care or preferred to avoid responsibility. For the price we paid, the experience didn’t justify the cost—mediocre food, inattentive service, and a bad glass of wine. When we left, no staff were in sight, so I’m leaving my feedback here instead.

Lovely setting and surroundings in some of the old Harland and Wolf buildings with lots of ship and titanic memorabilia. Servers were clearly interested in good service and allergy concerns and the general message was, let us know what you like and we will see what we can do which was great Unfortunately, even though they are classing themselves as an expensive fine dining experience they are not quite delivering on it all. From a coeliac perspective, despite a desire to provide options, there is no separate frier therefore no chips or other fried options available. I was not overly worried by the lack of a GF menu however was hoping for better guidance from staff. The GF breads were nice but not outstanding, the chicken and mash was very nice, and the garlic, chilli broccoli and peas was very nice. Only desert option available GF was a chocolate almond tart with raspberry which was ok but very very rich and overpowering. Really would have needed a little ice-cream or something to help cut it a little. Overall I was disappointed, by comparison Browns Bonds Hill in Derry is a similar restaurant targeting the same clientele and is of significantly higher quality of food and flexibility for GF customers. I would recommend you to visit but as much for the surroundings as the food. If you want a high end food experience go to Brown's Bond's Hill in Derry.
