Had a great experience at Ego at The Flying Fox served by Madeleine. Best hospitality and service anywhere since Covid. Hospitality seems to have disappeared in most restaurants in recent times, but not here ! Great ambience, can’t wait to visit again.

I cannot fault a single thing. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the cheerful and friendly staff. We were then seated by Danielle, who was our lovely waitress for the evening. Even though the restaurant was busy, we didn’t have to wait long at all for our drinks and food; we were also never rushed. The food was all delicious and beautifully presented. My husband and I had the Andalusian pork which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our son had steak from the junior children’s menu, this was a nice change than the usual burger and chips. You can see a lot of hard work and effort has been put in by all of the staff to make it run smoothly - you should all give yourselves a pat on the back :) We will definitely be coming back again soon!

We have been a few times, food has always been good. Service is always with a smile, but sometimes could be faster, maybe an extra staff member would help . Having said that, food is reasonably good value for money and we will return.
