Second time visiting Utter Waffle but first time in the new Balham restaurant :) Cozy place in the nicest and busiest street of the hood. Utter waffle has a unique approach, serving savoury and sweet waffles plus other little bits, depending on the occasion. Food is fresh, you can opt between half or full portion, which is great cause you can likely try more things at once ;) Finally, despite the place being fairly busy, the staff is always very friendly! I'd recommend to book in advance, specially during the weekend, to avoid to queue up.

I've chosen three stars because the waffles were very tasty but nowhere on the menu does it say that you get half a waffle with the sweet ones which feels like a con with those prices (that would have earned zero stars) 😭. Staff really friendly and a lovely atmosphere

Wow! Amazing chicken and waffles. As a celiac person, fried chicken and waffles are rarely on the menu for me. Not only were they gluten free, but they were insanely good!
